This project was aimed at raising awareness among students and business professionals (employers & employees) about human rights law, and the rights and obligations imposed by those laws in a business context. Human Rights in Business modules have been introduced at GIMPA into some of its undergraduate classes namely: Ethics and Values, Contemporary Development Issues in Ghana and Legal Environment of Business, and at the graduate level, the human rights and business program has been introduced into the MBA programme under the course “Business and Society”. Short courses and seminars on Human Rights in Business were also organized.
