The project seeks to champion the call for the abolition of death penalty in Ghana by facilitating the appeal process and representing at least five (5) prisoners in Court, who are currently on death row; and work to obtain the commutation of at least one of the sentences. Public conversation about the death penalty in general and how such sentence infringes on a human being’s right to life will also be initiated.
