Bongo District is one of the Thirteen (13) Municipals and Districts in the Upper East Region, with Bongo as its district capital. It shares boundaries with Burkina Faso to the North, Kassena-Nankana East District to the West, Bolgatanga Municipal to the South West and Nabdam District to the South East.
LRC’s contribution to the various challenges in Bongo district has been to provide legal services, conduct legal aid clinics, train women paralegals and to conduct various projects such as the registration and renewal of NHIS cards under the STAR-Health project.
