On 14th September, 2016, LRC held its 2nd Steering Committee meeting. This meeting was purposed to streamline activities for the 2nd quarter of the project which includes nationwide civic input into the ongoing reforms spearheaded by the Electoral Commission.
Members deliberated on the form the consultations should take, the regions to cover and the need for media participation. The Committee commended the EC for its readiness to partner LRC in these consultations.
These nationwide consultations are meant to bring voice to these electoral reforms from the perspective of citizens across Ghana. LRC would roll out this activity this month.
