LRC has been selected by the West Africa Civil Society Institute (WACSI) and the Embassy of France in Ghana to undergo a Three-year Civil Society Organisations development programme titled “Strengthening Professional Skills of CSO in Ghana” from August 2016 to October 2018.
LRC through this programme would strengthen its organizational effectiveness, advocacy, result-based management and reporting skills. Also, it will go a long way to strengthen LRC’s participatory and development process.
The specific objectives of the programme are to:
- Reinforce the organizational capacity of beneficiaries through more robust governance structures, leadership and management abilities for enhanced performance and sustainability;
- Strengthen results-based communication and ability of participating organisations to use monitoring and evaluation data for effective management, performance reporting and accountability; and
- Strengthen the ability of target beneficiaries to develop evidence-based advocacy and influencing strategies and develop effective networking and communication techniques.
