A team of 12 students from the Harvard Law School who are members of the Harvard’s Black Law School Students Association lead by Mr. Corey Jones visited the LRC as part of their annual trip to Africa on 14th March 2016.

The team reveres Ghana as one of the successful countries in Africa and thus made the trip to Ghana to satisfy their interest in business development and law and to study the issues facing the country and government responses to the said issues. Their itinerary included meeting with Harvard alumni, scholars, business people, students, legal professionals, government officials, social entrepreneurs and activists.

The team was hosted by the Executive Director of LRC, Ms. Daphne Lariba Nabila, an alumni of Harvard Law School who took them through the functions of LRC and the various projects carried out as well as prospective projects.

As part of the courtesy visit the team of law students made a donation to LRC to support its Legal Aid Project, in acknowledgment of the tremendous work the organization is doing and the impact it is making in the lives of people, especially the vulnerable and marginalized.
