Coalition of Domestic Election Observers (CODEO) and Centre for Domestic Development (CDD) held a one week training programme, 9th- 14th February,2015, in which facilitators were selected from among some NGO’s.
A representative of Legal Resources Centre, Samson Akanpigbiam, Programs Officer went to the Upper West Region to train district assembly election aspirants (men, women, youth and persons with disability).
The facilitators spoke on an overview of decentralization in Ghana, district assembly and unit committee elections, competing for political office, campaign planning, developing a campaign strategy, developing and deploying a campaign strategy.
