Capacity Building for Effective Deployment of the Rights Based Approach to Development
The LRC’s obligation under this project is to assist Action Aid International Ghana (AAIG) in building internal capacity of its staff and partners to implement a Rights Based Approach (RBA) to development. The LRC organized a number of training session for the staff and partners oftion Aid within the period of the project. This is a three year project which started in May 2005.
The LRC conducted a number of field visits to all the six development areas / partners of the AAIG to learn at first hand what the staff and partners have been able to do. The six development areas are as follows: Upper East Region, Brong Ahafo Region, Greater Accra Region, Upper West Region, and Northern Region. The Executive Director of the LRC, participated in Action Aid’s Senior Management Team meeting organized at Tumu in November 2006
