Ghanaian Elections 2016: Promoting responsible and peaceful electoral leadership
The LRC with support from the British High Commission, Accra is engaging Traditional leaders and the Media to promote peaceful elections. There will be training forums on the law, media ethics and the promotion of peaceful election, production of information, education and communication (IEC) materials in relevant local languages, radio jingles in different languages and also meetings with traditional authorities.
The purpose of this project is to support ongoing initiatives to mitigate the risks of unrest/violence ahead of the Presidential and Parliamentary elections in 2016.
